Shipping policy
Processing time
Orders for in-stock items placed before 4:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. Orders received after the cutoff, on weekends, or on US federal holidays are dispatched the next business day. Custom-built-on-demand or special-order items typically require 2–7 business days of preparation before shipment; an estimated lead time is confirmed in your order acknowledgment.
Domestic shipping (United States)
- FedEx Ground / UPS Ground: 1–5 business days, calculated by destination zone.
- FedEx 2Day / UPS 2nd Day Air: guaranteed delivery in 2 business days.
- FedEx Priority Overnight / UPS Next Day Air: next business day by 10:30 AM where available.
- Saturday delivery available on request for an additional fee.
Free ground shipping is offered on qualifying domestic orders over $500 (excluding oversized freight items).
International shipping
We ship to more than 60 countries via FedEx International, UPS Worldwide and DHL Express. Transit times typically range from 2 to 6 business days depending on destination. International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, brokerage and customs fees collected by the destination country. We provide complete commercial invoices, HTS codes, country-of-origin documentation and ECCN classifications for every export shipment.
Freight shipments
Large or heavy items (drive cabinets, motor control centers, palletized orders) ship via LTL freight. A liftgate, residential delivery or inside-delivery service can be arranged at checkout or by contacting our team.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed automatically as soon as your shipment is picked up by the carrier. You can also request tracking updates anytime by emailing sales@plcpartsready.com with your order number.
Insurance and loss claims
Every shipment is insured for its full declared value at no additional cost. If a package arrives damaged, refuse delivery if possible and contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs of the packaging and product. We will file the carrier claim on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund.
Address accuracy
Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting your order. Address corrections requested after a package has shipped incur the carrier's reroute fee (typically $18–$25). PLC Ready is not responsible for shipments delivered to addresses entered incorrectly by the customer.
Restricted destinations
We comply with all US export regulations (EAR, OFAC) and cannot ship to embargoed countries or restricted parties. Some products require an export license; if applicable, we will contact you before processing.
