Refund policy
30-day return window
Most items purchased from PLC Ready may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery. To be eligible, the product must be in the same condition received, with all original packaging, accessories, antistatic bags and documentation included.
How to start a return
- Email sales@plcpartsready.com or call +1 (689) 263-1985 with your order number and the reason for return.
- We will issue an RMA number within one business day.
- Pack the item securely and write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
- Ship the package to the address provided on your RMA. Returns shipped without an RMA may be refused.
Refund timing
Once your return arrives at our warehouse, our team inspects it within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Refund amounts
- Defective / DOA items: full refund including original and return shipping.
- Our error (wrong item shipped, mis-labeled, etc.): full refund including all shipping costs.
- Buyer's-remorse / wrong-part-ordered: refund of the product price minus a 20% restocking fee; original and return shipping are non-refundable.
- Refused or undeliverable shipments: refund of the product price minus the actual outbound shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee.
Non-returnable items
- Special-order, custom-built or factory-modified items.
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "As-Is" on the product page.
- Items returned after the 30-day window.
- Items received damaged due to inadequate return packaging.
- Software, license keys and consumable items (batteries, fuses) once opened.
Damaged in transit
Inspect every shipment immediately upon arrival. If the box or contents show carrier damage, photograph the packaging and product, refuse delivery if practical, and notify us within 48 hours. We will file the carrier claim and arrange a replacement or refund.
Exchanges
The fastest way to "exchange" a part is to place a new order for the correct item and return the original for refund using the process above. This avoids waiting for the return inspection before your replacement ships.
International returns
International customers are responsible for return-shipping costs and any export documentation. Please mark the package as "Returned goods — no commercial value" to avoid duplicate import duties on re-entry into the US.
