Allen-Bradley PLC-5 (1785-L series) is Rockwell's classic large-frame PLC platform that powered countless plants from the late 1980s through the 2000s. Although officially obsolete, PLC-5 systems remain in service in heavy industry, automotive, and process plants where migration costs are prohibitive. PLC Ready maintains inventory of 1785-L20B, 1785-L40B, 1785-L60B, 1785-L80B, 1785-L20E, 1785-L40E, 1785-L80E, and the PLC-5/V series with VME backplanes. We also carry 1771 chassis, 1771 I/O modules, 1785 communication modules (Data Highway Plus, ControlNet, Remote I/O), and power supplies.
