FLEX I/O
Allen-Bradley FLEX I/O (1794 series) is Rockwell's distributed I/O platform with a separable terminal base design that allows module replacement without rewiring. PLC Ready stocks 1794 EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O adapters, plus digital, analog, and specialty modules. Common catalog numbers include 1794-AENT, 1794-AENTR, 1794-IB16, 1794-OB16, 1794-IE8, 1794-OE4, 1794-IF4I, and 1794-IRT8. All modules are tested with the appropriate adapter and terminal base. Although FLEX I/O is now mature, it remains supported and widely deployed; we maintain inventory for plants standardizing on the platform or sourcing replacements for legacy systems.
